ADAM AICHER
Adam Aicher began his classical ballet training at a very young age with his mother, a former member of Ballet West and Oakland Ballet. He studied under American Ballet Theater alumnus and former director of
Adam has performed professionally with numerous companies and schools, and has worked with choreographers from around the world. After taking a job at City Ballet of San Diego, Adam joined Company C Contemporary Ballet in 2003, under artistic director and former New York City Ballet alumnus Charles Anderson. From 2006-2009, Adam was the ballet master for Moving Arts Dance. Adam has given master classes and workshops at schools around the country, including
Adam is a Dual-Certified Pilates Trainer through the PhysicalMind Institute and Mind-Body Connection, and is the proud owner of Practical Pilates, a full-service Pilates studio in downtown
Over the years, Adam has also been involved in many dance projects and movie productions. He appeared on the television show, Nash Bridges and was a background dancer in several independant films. In 2000, Adam co-authored a screenplay, "Usher", that was produced by Gary Yap, a FOX network animator whose credits include "The Simpsons" and "King of the Hill". Developed by Gremillon Films, the movie quickly became a hit on the independent film circuit, and sold international distribution rights.
Adam and his wife Jane have been happily married since 2006. They have two children, Alexander and Addison.
